# How To Make It:
01 - Combine olive oil, BBQ sauce, lime juice, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl. Add steak and coat evenly. Let marinate for a minimum of 15 minutes, or refrigerate up to 2 hours for enhanced flavor.
02 - Rinse rice under cold water until clear. In a saucepan, bring water, rice, and salt to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes until water is absorbed. Remove from heat and fluff with a fork.
03 - Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add sliced bell peppers and onion, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes until softened with slight charring. Remove and keep warm.
04 - Increase heat to high. Place marinated steak onto the pan or grill. Sear for 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare or cook to preferred doneness. Transfer to a plate, cover loosely with foil, and rest for 5 minutes.
05 - Cut the rested steak thinly against the grain for optimal tenderness.
