Brie en Croûte Pine Tree (Printable View)

Elegant baked brie wrapped in pine tree-shaped puff pastry with cranberry and pecan filling.

# What You Need:

→ Dairy

01 - 1 wheel Brie cheese, approximately 8 oz

→ Pastry

02 - 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

→ Filling

03 - 3 tablespoons cranberry sauce
04 - 2 tablespoons toasted pecans, roughly chopped

→ Topping

05 - 1 egg, beaten
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped (optional)
07 - 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

# How To Make It:

01 - Set oven temperature to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut a large triangle resembling a pine tree, large enough to enclose the Brie. Reserve scraps for decoration.
03 - Place Brie in the center of the pastry triangle. Spread cranberry sauce over the Brie and scatter toasted pecans on top.
04 - Fold pastry over the Brie, shaping it into a pine tree. Use reserved pastry scraps to cut decorative branches and affix them onto the wrapped Brie.
05 - Transfer the wrapped Brie to the prepared baking sheet and brush the surface evenly with beaten egg.
06 - Sprinkle chopped rosemary over the pastry if desired. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and crisp.
07 - Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Optionally, drizzle honey before serving warm alongside crackers or fresh bread.
