# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It takes less time than brewing coffee and still feels like a real breakfast instead of a compromise.
  • You can see every layer through the glass which makes it oddly motivating to eat something healthy first thing.
  • The crunch from the granola stays intact if you eat it right away, giving you texture that most quick breakfasts lack.
02 -
  • If you let the parfait sit for more than ten minutes the granola will soften and turn chewy, so assemble it right before you eat.
  • Frozen fruit works in a pinch but it releases water as it thaws, making the yogurt runny unless you drain the berries first.
  • Using vanilla yogurt instead of plain adds sweetness without needing extra honey, but check the sugar content so it doesnt become cloying.
03 -
  • Layer the yogurt higher on the sides of the glass than in the center so the fruit stays visible and you get that cafe-style look without trying too hard.
  • Toast your granola in a dry pan for two minutes before adding it to wake up the flavor and make it extra crispy.
  • Add a pinch of lemon zest to the yogurt if the fruit tastes flat, especially in winter when berries arent at their peak.
